Energy Conservation About 25% of the total Electricity used in Kerala is consumed by Small Industries. Among these Small Industries a large no of Industries use wood, diesel, naphtha, etc. as fuel. The Small Industries where interruption of Electricity is a major concern, depends completely on large generators. In most of the Small Industries unlike the Large and Medium Industries the Machinery are handled by Technically unskilled and inexperienced persons.
